OUR CHIEF APOSTLE

A dedicated life of service, ministry, and leadership is evidence of God's hand at work in the life of His chosen. Handpicked by God from amongst a family of great gifts Bishop Donald Gregory Edward Hill has dedicated his life entirely to fulfilling God's will and is a living testimony of the power of God at work in the life of His beloved.

At a tender age, Bishop D. Gregory Edward Hill's indoctrination and Holiness Apostolic journey began at the Church of God of the Pentecostal Way and the Freewill Holiness Church HOGSIC both in Fort Myers Florida. He is the eldest son of the late Mr. Shellie Edward Hill and Evangelist Margie J. Baker McCarter.

He is the father of 7 prestigious children. He moved with fear and trembling as he achieved the office of deacon, minister, ordained minister, ordained Elder, presiding elder, and Bishop-Elect, and in September 2001 he was publicly consecrated to the office of Bishop and First Presiding Bishop of The House of God In Christ Church then headquartered in Douglas Georgia.

He presently serves as the Chief Apostle of the HOGIC church fellowship and is the Pastor of Christ Cathedral Apostolic Church (The Mother Church) of the House of God in Christ, Inc. In 2002 Bishop Hill founded the House of God in Christ Bible Institute. In March 2003 upon the recommendation he received an Honorary Doctorate of Ministry from the Charles Harrison Mason System of Bible Colleges of The Church of God in Christ (Memphis Tennessee).
